The Snow & Outdoor Trade Association (SOTA) was formed in the mid-eighties by a small group of independent wholesalers who wished to showcase their products to retailers in the outdoor industry across Australia and New Zealand. Over time, this event expanded to encompass all aspects of the outdoor industry, evolving into what is now known as the SIA Snow & Outdoor Trade Show.

The 2025 SIA Snow & Outdoor Trade Show – Canberra will be the premier showcase of outdoor and snow leisure equipment for Australian and New Zealand retailers. Exhibitors will feature an extensive range of products including tents, sleeping bags, cooking equipment, 4WD gear, canoes and kayaks, thermal wear, first aid, survival gear, climbing equipment, optics, water sports, hydration, hiking, bicycle accessories, swags, and snow gear.
